1. Acceptance of these terms

MandirMay is operated by PujaPurohit Bharat Technologies Private Limited, Innov8 UCP, 9th Floor, Tower D, Unitech Cyber Park, Sector 39, Gurgaon, Haryana – 122001 (GSTIN 06AAOCP6864A1Z9).

By browsing mandirmay.com, creating an account, or making a booking, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Our role as a facilitator

MandirMay is a booking and coordination platform — not a temple authority. We are not owned by, affiliated with, or an agent of any temple trust or administration.

We arrange darshan assistance, in-temple puja, VIP pass facilitation, accommodation, meals and local transport through independent partners: temple representatives, pandits, hotels and drivers. We select and coordinate these partners and stand behind the service we promise, but the ritual itself and entry into the temple remain governed by the temple administration.

Darshan timings, queue arrangements, garbha griha access and pass issuance are controlled entirely by the temple administration and local authorities, and can change without notice — especially on festival and peak days.

3. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.
  • You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password. You are responsible for keeping access to that number secure.
  • You must provide accurate details. If you book for another devotee, you confirm you have their permission to share their name and mobile number with us and our partners.
  • We will never ask you for your OTP, password, card PIN or CVV. Never share them with anyone claiming to be from MandirMay.

4. Bookings and itineraries

You build an itinerary by choosing a visit date, a stay length and the services you want. A booking is confirmed only when your advance payment succeeds and you receive an order ID and invoice from us.

Availability is finite and some services are restricted on particular dates by the temple administration. Where a service is unavailable for your chosen date, it will be marked as such and cannot be added. Certain services carry minimum quantities or must be booked together with another service; these rules are shown at the time of booking and are set by the temple, not by us.

Estimated timings shown in your itinerary are indicative. Actual timings depend on crowd levels, temple schedules and administrative decisions on the day.

5. Pricing, advance and taxes

  • All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and include our service and coordination charge where applicable.
  • VIP pass / darshan services require 100% payment at the time of booking.
  • All other services (puja, stays, transport, meals) require a 30% advance at booking; the balance is payable as set out in your invoice or on the ground to the relevant partner.
  • Applicable taxes, including GST, are charged as required by law and shown on your invoice.
  • Prices may change over time; the price shown at the moment you pay is the one that applies to your booking.

Personal expenses, donations offered inside the temple, additional samagri you purchase yourself, and anything not listed in your itinerary are not included.

6. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI or banking credentials. If a payment is debited but your booking is not confirmed, the amount is normally reversed automatically by your bank; if it is not, contact us with the payment reference and we will trace it.

We may cancel a booking and refund you in full if we detect fraud, a pricing error, or a payment that cannot be verified.

7. VIP passes and temple rules

Your invoice is not a VIP pass. The physical pass is handed to you by our representative at the mandir on the day of your visit.

  • Passes are issued at the discretion of the temple administration and may be suspended, limited or withdrawn on peak days, festivals and during special periods.
  • During Sawan and other high-footfall periods, access to the garbha griha is commonly restricted and Jalabhishek must be performed at the designated Argha. Special pujas may be performed in outer halls rather than the main sanctum.
  • You must carry a valid government photo ID and follow the temple's dress code, security checks and conduct rules.
  • Passes are non-transferable and are valid only for the named devotees, date and slot booked.

If the temple administration blocks a service on your date after you have booked, we will offer a reschedule or a full refund for that service.

8. Stays and transport

  • Hotel check-in and check-out times are fixed by the property (typically 12:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM check-out). Early check-in or late check-out is not guaranteed.
  • Room categories are as described at booking. If a property cannot honour a confirmed room, we will arrange a comparable alternative or refund that service.
  • During restricted periods, authorities frequently block vehicle access near temples. Pickups and drops may then happen at designated outer points, with a short walk or local e-rickshaw for the last stretch.
  • You are responsible for your own luggage and belongings at all times.

9. Cancellations, refunds and rescheduling

The following policy applies to all bookings:

  • VIP darshan & hotel stays — strictly non-refundable once initiated. Advance payments are immediately locked for on-ground reservations with our temple and hospitality partners.
  • Temple services, pujas & taxi bookings — 100% refund of the paid advance if cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled visit. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling — free of charge up to 48 hours before the visit, subject to availability. Between 24 and 48 hours a 10% fee applies. Rescheduling is not permitted within 24 hours of the visit.
  • Service delivery guarantee — if a booked service is not delivered due to partner error or an operational failure on the ground, that service is refunded 100%.
  • Refund timeline — approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method through Razorpay and typically reflect within 5 to 7 business days.

To cancel or reschedule, contact us at support@mandirmay.com or +91 89689 50252 with your order ID. Full details — including exactly when a refund is and is not payable — are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10. No-show policy

Our representative will wait up to 2 hours at the agreed meeting point. If you do not arrive or coordinate with us within that window, the booking is marked a No-Show and the advance is forfeited. Please keep the mobile number used for booking reachable on the day of travel.

11. Force majeure

In the event of official temple closures ordered by the administration, natural events such as landslides or flash floods, civil unrest, epidemics, or government restrictions, a 100% refund will be issued for affected services. We are not liable for consequential costs such as your travel tickets, missed connections or independent bookings made outside MandirMay.

12. Convenience fee and how grievances are raised

You acknowledge and accept that MandirMay charges a convenience and management fee on every service it arranges. This fee is included in the price displayed to you before payment and is shown on your invoice. It is the consideration for our work — securing the arrangement with the temple and our partners, deploying and managing our on-ground representatives, and supporting you before, during and after the visit.

This is a commercial arrangement between you and MandirMay alone. The temple administration is not a party to it, receives no part of our fee, and has no role in our pricing, refunds or service commitments.

Accordingly, you agree that:

  • Every grievance about your booking, our pricing, our convenience fee, our representatives or our service must be raised directly with MandirMay through the support channels below. We acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
  • You will not approach the temple administration, its trust, officials or staff to raise complaints or claims concerning MandirMay, our fees or our commercial arrangements. They neither administer nor can resolve these matters, and doing so disrupts temple operations for other devotees.
  • You will not represent yourself as an agent, employee or authorised representative of MandirMay before the temple administration or any authority, nor negotiate or make commitments in our name.
  • You will not use our booking, invoice or brand name to claim any entitlement from the temple administration beyond the darshan or service actually arranged for you.

Breach of this clause may result in cancellation of the booking without refund and suspension of the account. For clarity, nothing in this clause prevents you from exercising your statutory rights, including approaching a consumer forum or other competent authority under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — we only ask that you give us the opportunity to resolve the matter first.

13. Local panda / pandit declaration

If you already know, or are already in contact with, a local panda or pandit at the temple, we cannot accept your booking. You must declare this before payment. This is asked directly at checkout and the booking is stopped if you answer yes.

We ask this for a practical reason. The price you pay MandirMay is not the face value of a pass or a ritual. It is a packaged price that includes our convenience and management fee for arranging the service, deploying our representative, and coordinating with the temple and our partners. A local panda who is not part of our network often knows only the counter cost of a pass, and on learning our packaged price raises disputes, confronts or abuses our on-ground representatives, and disrupts the darshan for you and for other devotees.

By completing a booking you confirm and warrant that:

  • You have not engaged, retained or arranged any local panda, pandit, guide, agent or intermediary at the temple for this visit, and are not acting on the referral or instruction of one.
  • You will not introduce, hand over or route your booking to any such person at any stage, including after payment or on the day of the visit.
  • You will deal only with the representative formally assigned to you by MandirMay, whose identity we share with you before the visit.
  • You will not disclose your booking details, invoice or pricing to any third party at the temple who is not part of our network.

Consequences of a false or concealed declaration

If you conceal an existing local panda or pandit arrangement, or if such a person is introduced into your booking at any stage, then:

  • The booking is treated as void from the outset and may be cancelled immediately, including on the day of the visit.
  • No refund of any kind is payable — this includes the advance, the convenience fee, and any amount already paid for services not yet delivered. Costs committed on your behalf are not recoverable by us.
  • Your account may be suspended or permanently blocked from future bookings.
  • MandirMay reserves the right to take action against both the individual panda / pandit and the user concerned, including removing that person from our partner network, reporting the conduct to the temple administration and the relevant authorities, and pursuing any legal remedy available to us.

Abuse of our representatives

Our on-ground representatives are entitled to work safely. Any abuse, intimidation, threat, obstruction or physical confrontation directed at them — whether by you, or by any person acting on your behalf or at your instance — will result in immediate termination of all services for that booking with no refund, and will be reported to the temple administration and to the police where warranted.

14. Your conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false traveller details, or resell or transfer passes and bookings
  • Engage local touts or intermediaries in parallel for the same booking — we cannot process a booking where a separate local arrangement already exists
  • Disrespect temple customs, staff, our representatives or other devotees
  • Attempt to disrupt, scrape, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to our platform
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend or cancel bookings and accounts that breach these rules, without refund where the breach caused the cancellation.

15. Intellectual property

The MandirMay name, logo, site design, text, photographs and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission. Temple names and images are used for identification and descriptive purposes only.

16. Limitation of liability

We take responsibility for the services we agree to arrange. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you actually paid to MandirMay for that booking.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost travel costs, missed connections, loss of enjoyment or loss of profit.
  • We are not liable for personal injury, illness, theft or loss of belongings arising from your travel, or for the independent acts of temple authorities or third-party partners beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gurgaon, Haryana. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us — most issues are resolved quickly and directly.

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be notified on the site. Bookings are governed by the terms in force when they were made.
